Typically understaffed. Most floor nursing staff are helpful and supportive, but management is an issue as they are more concerned with attending virtual meetings than they are with helping understaffed units. The cafe is always closing early so good luck with food options. Bathrooms always need toilet paper. You have to walk all admitted pt meds to the pharmacy.

The staff from the other radiology departments are really friendly . The manager for the nuclear department is nice but she will over work you , she’s a big micro manager. Be prepared to work. A lot of scanning and paperwork, patient volume increases during the shift and sometimes you may not be able to take a lunch break. Some of the cardiologists are demanding . In short it can be a very stressful sometimes hostile environment to work in specifically  in the Nuc med department .
