Primary responsibility includes the coordination of department clinical services. Collaboration with other departments is essential. This position functions as the on-site administrative representative during "off shifts", holidays and weekends.

Required: This position requires current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, a minimum of three years clinical experience in the clinical area that they supervise and demonstrated expert clinical and leadership skills. PALS and NRP certification is required for Maternal Child Health. ACLS and PALS are required for PACU. Preferred: B.S.N. or Bachelors degree in a health care related field and prior hospital management experience. Applicable clinical/administration certification is desirable.

Preferred: Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing For specialty nursing areas two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of specialty nursing experience in the specialty area of the position. Certification in specialty area.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
