Work six 12 hour shifts. When you leave work you are on call until 7 am.   Be ready to be more of a secretary than a respiratory therapist . There is absolutely nothing to do in this area. You have to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to a bigger town

Often the only nurse in the ER with no support. The techs leave to go to the local Walmart leaving nobody to register patients. No in house respiratory, or xray most of the time. No security 50% of the time. Very high acuityof illnesses in this community. The people who live and work there are great people but when they say you'll be one of 2 nurses it's not true. Providers do 24 hour shifts and are sleep deprived as it is very busy. A seasoned vet might do well but do not make this a first or second contract.
