It specializes in treatment of Seniors 65 or older, Young adults and Adults. Big Spring State Hospital also supports Seniors or older adults, Military families and Persons with HIV or AIDS. Initial Selection Criteria: 1. Graduation from a Nursing Program accredited by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners required. 2. Work experience as a practicing registered nurse is required. 3. At least six (6) months of experience as a practicing registered nurse in a health agency, hospital, or health-care facility is preferred. 4. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
