The overall staff at Baptist was very welcoming and team oriented. The scheduler who is now the OR director was bad about micromanaging everyone and going out of her way to ensure a blocked schedule did not happen for travelers. She was the main reason that most travelers and staff left the facility.

Overworked, underpaid, and undervalued. Patient load is the load of two dietitians. No chance for higher pay or raises except for the yearly salary adjustments that are barely anything. Toxic work environment with management. This place truly only cares about profit and NOT the healthcare workers or patients.

PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

I received poor training, and illogical reasoning for using outdated protocols, everyone was upset that I wasn’t a “button-pusher” tech, I was micro-managed constantly, and patients and facilities were kept in substandard condition.
