Honestly, the people I worked with here is what kept me for a second contract. The leadership needs some work. They can’t figure out a schedule to have every shift properly staffed. Very little support for evening shift and even less support for night shift. I feel like they let their night shift struggle and don’t bother to see that they are drowning. 
But if you want great coworkers, this group of people are great to form a trauma bond with.

The only real issue I had was trying to receive information about my extension submission. I felt like I had to keep up with it every day for 3 weeks.

It’s a great hospital. I never worked on my unit but 2-3 days in the whole contract. I think it was sometimes too much for one nurse to complete. I never felt comfortable working there and I felt the staff were not so friendly.  I honestly never liked it at all. I have traveled for 8 years of my career and I would rate this as my first assignment I disliked from day 1.  I never felt welcome there at all. This was not just me. Everyone I encountered that was a traveler felt the same way. It might have been me trying a 1st shift position, but it never felt like home at all.  It was just a bad hospital at all. Just a bad culture for a traveler. This  is only my interpretation.
