I worked in the OR setting, soft goods/supplies were stocked well. When it comes to instruments/sets, you have several in Central Sterile that take no pride in their work. Each surgical specialty has its team's of surgical techs/nurses, so any traveler for general will get thrown wherever. So many travelers, so you may get away with not doing much, just depends on if the front desk person likes you or not.

Not sure about the rest of the hospital positions, but the ER is a terrible place to work as a traveler. They overload you constantly, stick all the travel staff in 2 pods and while you are working hard the core staff sit in the critical pods joking, eating, and playing on phones. The charge nurses don't allocate resources to assist when the department is busy. There is absolutely NO ancillary help. So you are Lab, CT transport, X-ray transport, Floor transport, and all with a full load of 4-5 patient's.  The psych patients are off the chain and security is a major issue. I am fearful of my license every time I go into work at AU ED. I wish I could leave 0 stars!
