Moral is very low which causes friction among co-workers. 
Immediate manager cannot do the job that is required due to the manager above him/her popping in and telling him/her how to do their job and physically taking the job role over. 
The higher ranking manager also doesn’t know how to talk to people. Instead, he/she talks down to everyone, raises his/her voice, yells in a belittling manner in front of other employees and even when nothing is going wrong and there is no tension present, he/she talks to everyone as if they are a child who is being punished, with an extreme attitude. This higher manager displays NO respect! 
The immediate manager has no backbone. 
The majority of the staff spends a great deal of their time kissing both managers buttocks. 
The pay is extremely low, as low as I made 13 years ago. 
There is no changing anything at this facility, because their motto is “We’ve done it like this for years, we aren’t changing it now.” The amount of call required  by any one nurse or surg tech is horrendous!!  Quite ridiculous!! 
There is no respect from appropriately 85% of all the employees in the department, including CRNA’s and Surgeons. 
No employee can vent or discuss matters with other employees, because the majority of the staff are women. They will take what is said, twist it, and tell everyone what was said, plus some, including but not limited to, running to the immediate supervisor’s office to tattle tail, moan, and whine. 
There is a lot of drama! 
It’s a sad place, with tension, and frustration, where all of the employees are overwhelmed, over worked, and significantly under paid!!! I wouldn’t just not recommend this facility to anyone who wants a decent job, but I also would not recommend this facility to care for your medical needs.
