Maintains records of the transactions of the Pharmacy as required by federal, state, and local laws, and as necessary to maintain adequate control and accountability of all drugs.
	</li><li>Assures that all pharmaceutical requirements are met when any preparing, sterilizing, and labeling of parenteral medications and solutions is performed within the hospital, but not under pharmacy supervision.
	</li><li>Maintains records of the transactions of the Pharmacy as required by federal, state, and local laws, and as necessary to maintain adequate control and accountability of all drugs. Maintains and keeps available the staff-approved stock of antidotes and other emergency drugs, both in the Pharmacy and patient care areas.
	</li><li>Inspects all nursing care units where medications are dispensed, administered, or stored. Develops written policies and procedures that pertain to the hospital drug distribution system, in concert with the medical staff and nursing leadership, as appropriate, with representatives of other disciplines.
