This hospital was horrible ER... I worked one shift. Had 2 ICU patients and 4 other patients. That's night. We worked short. It is UNSAFE. However, The nurses that's worked that night were very kind and helpful. I would give them a 5 star.amf BONUS because they NEED it!

 Occupational Therapist Full Time Days Position Summary
 Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to resort, reinforce and enhance performance. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation. Provides quality occupational therapy services according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
 Occupational Therapist Full Time Days Responsibilities

 <li>Assess patient needs for occupational therapy in a timely fashion; completes initial evaluation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department. Documents patient care efficiently and effectively..</li>
 <li>Develops and maintains long and short-term treatment goals that are functional and measurable for each patient. </li>
 <li>Re-evaluates and modifies treatment programs as warranted..</li>
 <li>Integrates information, prioritizes needs, involves patient/family in planning process. </li>

 Cath Lab Tech Full Time Days Position Summary
 Technician providing technical and patient support and patient care. Communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition. Assist physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures. Operates all equipment safely and correctly. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Technician is authorize to be in the presence of medications
 Responsibilities Assists in the cleanup of room following procedure to include appropriate disposal of used supplies, handling of instruments, returning and restocking of supplies. Also participates in the restocking, resupplying and cleaning of the support areas. Assists in positioning, prepping and draping of patients for procedures. Gives patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently. Sets up and scrubs for procedures in a timely manner that allows the patient to come into the room 5 minutes prior to schedule start time. Maintains aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies, setting up procedures and during all invasive procedures Operates all imaging equipment safely and correctly. Performs preventative maintenance as needed. Ensures proper functioning prior to each procedure, during procedure and post procedure. Ability to work as a team member, assists physicians and assists the with the interpretations of data collected. Able to scrub, circulate and operate in the control room for all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Laboratory Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for the patients age. Assures radiation safety and monitoring.

 RN Med Surg Full Time Nights Position Summary  


 Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgement in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care. Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals. Participates in hourly rounding. Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices. May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s). Supervises other members of the healthcare team.  


 Special Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills. Strongly preferred expr in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.   


 THE RN MED SURG FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.  


 MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school  


 PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN  


 MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Level II EQ Only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.  


 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.  


 REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department  


 - ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&amp;D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.   - ER: PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within ninety days   - PACU: ACLS required or must obtain within six months of hire, PALS preferred.   - Post-partum, Nursery, L&amp;D: NRP required upon orientation completion.   - Bariatrics: Certification or specialized training in bariatrics specialty area of practice.   - Wound Care: Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care.  


 REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: L&amp;D only: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire. updated 12/09/09.
