EDUCATION:

Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Collaborate with a Central Capacity Center to assist with expediting patients in and out of the ED setting. Review status of ED patients and any barriers to placement or discharge. Communicate with ED staff to help expedite patients to the inpatient unit who have beds assigned. Work with admitting provider group to expedite bed request orders. Accept EMS encodes and direct EMS units to the appropriate facility based on capacity.
