Job Description Registered Nurse - Women's Services What We Are Looking For Navarro Regional Hospital's Women's Services department is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our thriving department at our 162 bed acute care hospital. The unit consist of 5 Labor rooms and 9 Post-partum doing an average of 50 deliveries per month. What You Will Do Job Duties: * Assist mothers with breastfeeding by providing one-on-one bedside consultation * Provides education for patients and staff on breastfeeding * Assist with recovery of c-section patients * Administer IV medication along with anesthesia and pain management medication * Implements safety/infection control measures Minimum Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Current Texas Nursing License * BLS & ACLS upon hire Preferred Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Nursing * One (1) year of experience highly preferred * NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate and/or Advanced certification Working Hours: * 7a-7p * Self-scheduling unit * Weekends and Holidays required Who We Are Navarro Regional Hospital is your community healthcare provider, a 162-bed licensed acute care facility with inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic imaging, emergency department, medical and surgical care.
