Responsible for staffing decisions assuring that caregiver to patient ratios are appropriate for patient census and activity. Collaborates with supervisors in FCC and L&D to manage patient throughput assuring efficiency of admission and discharge. Capable of adhering to an overall patient placement strategy, and using critical thinking skills to modify as appropriate. * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. * Five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership capacity. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Demonstrated knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, management principles and methods, and hospital policies and procedures. PREFERRED: * B.S. degree in Nursing.
