Registered Nurse (RN) Manager (ENT, Stroke and Neuro Surgery)

Job Description This is for a full-time Nurse Manager role in our ENT, Stroke and Neuro Surgery. About the job: * Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit * Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff * Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training * May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients * Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals * Performs a variety of tasks * Leads and directs the work of others * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management Requirements: * FL RN License, Bachelor's Degree Required * Must be a registered nurse with at least 5-7 years of clinical experience in a related field * Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures * BLS and ACLS Certifications
