RN - Radiology Sedation Infusion Nurse
Part-Time 601 Children's Lane Inpatient Nursing Days/Evenings 33.0100 Through 49.5200 * ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs a wide variety of patient care activities, accommodative services, and administrative functions to support the medical care of patients and families. * Plans, provides, and monitors specific patient needs following established policies, procedures, and regulations. * Participates in on-going quality assurance, maintains regulatory requirements, and assists in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures. * Provides support to orientation and training of staff. * Demonstrates excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient, family, and staff education. * Demonstrates effective use of time and resources. * Performs other duties as assigned * LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS * Current State license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license. * RN specialty certification preferred (CPN, CCRN etc). * CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire. * PEARS training required within 90 days of employment. * PALS training required within 6 months of hire. * Nurses who assist with cardiac procedures are required to obtain ACLS training within 12 months of hire. * MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Must have an Associates in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with applicable experience. BSN is preferred. * Pediatric experience preferred. * WORKING CONDITIONS * Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures.
