Description JOB SUMMARY * Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices. Duties include assessment of patients, developing plan of care, implementing the plan of care and evaluating plan of care. Position requires a high quality of care in order to meet the Hospital's core mission. Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required) * 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in from a state accredited School of Professional Nursing (Preferred) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * 1 - 2 years Nursing Experience (Preferred) CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES Required Certifications/Licensures: * Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license * Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within six months of hire * Georgia Stroke Core Curriculum (GSCC) & National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or obtained within 1 year of hire * Crisis Response Training (CRT) is required within one year of hire. * Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is required within one year of hire
