SUMMARY The Clinical Quality Nurse Leader reports to the Nursing Quality Department and provides quality surveillance through event identification, investigation, reporting, and follow-up for loop closure for the Nursing services at Grady. Collaborating with physicians, consultants, and multi-disciplinary team members, this role ensures high-quality patient outcomes across the continuum of care. As a key liaison between the Trauma/Burn Program and Nursing quality, the Clinical Quality Nurse Leader provides direct clinical expertise in chart audits and case reviews as identified by the Trauma PI teams. Additionally, the role involves conducting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and ACA (Action-Centered Analysis) reviews to drive improvements in care delivery. Effective oversight of the clinical outcome nurse responsibilities is essential for facilitating the team's implementation of best practices and ensuring the successful execution of quality initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; path to Master's Degree * Three (3) or more years job related experience including RN experience caring for high acuity patients (i.e., ED, periop, IMCU, ICU). * Current Georgia License as Registered Nurse. * Advanced Cardiac Life support * National Certified required within 3 years of hire. * Basic Life Support (BLS).
