Position Details Req ID: req18578 Position Title: Nurse Supervisor - Pediatrics Position Type: Staff Full-Time Position Number: GS9136 OSU Campus: Tulsa - Center for Health Sciences/OSU Medicine Department: Pediatrics Location Address: 1705 E 19th Street , #600 Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74127 United States Hiring Supervisor: Hiring Range: (Contingent upon available funding): LPN - $22.00-24.75 RN - Commensurate with education and experience Work Schedule: Typically 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Position Summary: The Nurse Supervisor overseeing LPN/RMA/CA personnel in the Pediatrics Department will collaborate with the practice administrator, physicians, and support staff to promote an effective and efficient departmental operation. This role serves as the primary liaison for communication regarding nursing matters between the patient population and healthcare providers. Environmental Hazards: Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge: * Proficient in providing patient care and executing medical procedures, including medication administration and triage. * Familiar with medical terminology and its application in clinical settings. * Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective interactions with patients and healthcare teams. * Required proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to healthcare operations. * Capable of quickly acquiring knowledge of new processes, tools, and equipment as needed. Preferred: * BSN or RN * Experience managing clinical back office operations. * Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems. * Preference for candidates with pediatric experience.
