Broward Health Medical Center Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 0.010000 Summary: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern provides basic nursing skills and care within the patient and family centered care model. Nursing skills include assisting with personal care, phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc. to facilitate quality service outcomes. Education: Completion of a ASN or BSN program from an accredited school. Experience: One-year clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred. Credentials: Eligible for RN licensure at the completion of the BSN/Associate Nursing Program OR completed registration for NCLEX testing.
