Nurse Tech

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities on all age groups of patients. Reports to: Charge Nurse, Department Director and/or House Supervisor Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire Active Nursing Assistant licensure in the Commonwealth of VA Minimum Work Experience At least one year of previous experience as a Nursing Assistant desired.
