About the Role: The purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed. Service Areas: Raleigh, NC. May float to other clinics in NC as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Experience/Education: * Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. * Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice. * 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy. * BLS (American Heart Association) or obtain upon hire. * Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel). * Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner. * Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team. Essential Functions: * Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting. * Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients. * Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner. * Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers. * Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations. * Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses. * Travel to outlying clinics as needed. * Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services. * Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to: * accessing and maintaining central lines and PIVS * obtaining lab specimens * collecting vital signs * Safely administer intravenous and injectable medications as ordered by prescribing physicians * documenting patient care * responding to and accurately reporting adverse drug reactions * assisting with administrative duties as needed About the Benefits: * Competitive Compensation * Comprehensive Medical Insurance * Dental and Vision Insurance * Company Life Insurance * Voluntary Life and Disability Insurance * Additional Voluntary Supplemental Plans * Flexible Spending Account (Medical and Dependent Care) * Health Savings Account * 401K Retirement Plan * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Employee Discounts * Ramsey SmartDollar Program * Referral Program * Tuition Assistance * Paid Time Off * 8 Paid Company Holidays Patient Advocacy Statement: At Palmetto Infusion, we believe that patient advocacy is at the heart of everything we do, regardless of our roles within the organization. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
