Family Nurse Practioner

Job Description UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeks a Family Medicine Physician at Cajah's Mountain Medical Associates. HIGHLIGHTS * Family Medicine Practice within a rural community. * Collaborative team based practice * Access to a broad scope of specialist within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network * A well respected organization, serving the community over 30 years * Flexible hours and schedule- the ability to work 3 (12 hour shifts) or 4.5 ( 8 hour shifts) * Will be able to see acute and chronic patients QUALIFICATIONS Education Requirements: * Completion of an accredited graduate -level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program. * Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. * Board certification if required by the Department Professional Experience Requirements: * Must have 2+ years of experience to be considered Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: * Demonstrated clinical competency. * Preventive Care * Management of Acute and Chronic health issues * Strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. * Effective interaction and care of patients * Documentation of medical records for accurate billing Compensation: * Competitive Salary plus RVU bonuses * Health insurance and Retirement Plans - through the practice * Malpractice Insurance * ETOP: Vacation/ Holiday/ Sick Time * Sign on and retention bonuses available Cajah's Mountain Medical Associates and Express care is a managed practice of UNC Health Blue Ridge.
