Registered Dietitian

Job Summary * The Registered Dietitian will provide education, counseling, and Medical Nutrition therapy and care to patients, residents and clients in their specific department or area of accountability both individually and in groups. This is done via assessment, development, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of nutrition care plans. * Identify, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate educational programs to patients, health care providers, and the community. * Functions as an integral part of the collaborative interdisciplinary health care team. * Serves as a nutrition resource for the patient, health care team and community and assures that the delivery of high quality nutrition care is provided. #READ #LI-AH1 Qualifications Education Requirements * 4 year/Bachelor's Degree Experience * Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure * BLS Certification * Commission on Dietetic Registration Registered Dietician * Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist-Pennsylvania * Eligible for PA Licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Dietitian-Nutritionist Licensure required within 120 days of employment * Certified Personal Trainer through NASM if applicable Required Skills * Excellent Communications Skills * Excellent Interpersonal Skills * General Clerical Skills * Keyboarding * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft PowerPoint * Microsoft Word * Multi Line Telephone Operational Skills Overview Tower Health is an innovative, leading health system dedicated to advancing the health and transforming the lives of the people we serve through compassionate, accessible, high quality, cost-effective healthcare.
