Physical Therapy Assistant - Inpatient

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.000001 | On Call | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM Position Summary The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to a wide variety of patients, in patient care area including inpatient, outpatient, home care, and skilled nursing settings, and may provide weekend treatment to inpatients. This position will support inpatient and outpatient environments. Qualifications Education * Graduation from a PTA program * Ability to adhere to and maintain expertise regarding federal and state regulations and specific carrier requirements Licensure/Certifications * PTA: Physical Therapist Assistant licensed by the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board required upon start * BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start * DL: Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past 10 years and proof of insurance may also be required Required Skills * Ability to process information and to problem-solve individually and within a team setting * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately and to manager time well * Flexibility with scheduling along with the ability to provide inpatient treatment on a weekend rotation, or ability to provide treatment at two sites * Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, coworkers, physicians, and community members What We Offer Our Flexible Workforce (Per diem/On-call) * Competitive starting wage * An additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position) * Benefit option available through the Asante Flexible Workforce plan * Excellent retirement package with up to a 6% employer contribution Why Asante Asante is more than a great hospital system in an amazing location.
