Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) CSU(Open Heart) - Nights

Job Description SEASONAL CONTRACT - Open-ended agreement at $60/hr beginning November 3 to April 15(subject to change) The commitment in exchange for this premium rate is 36 hours per week with this open-ended agreement Requirements: Experience: 2 years of recent acute care RN CSU(Open Heart) experience required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing License: Valid Florida RN License. American Heart Associate BLS, ACLS, and PALS POSITION PURPOSE RN is responsible for coordinating and overseeing care delivered with an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Perform phlebotomy duties, basic laboratory procedures, wound cultures, Point of Care testing, EKGs, application of splints and other care interventions within scope of practice and direction of the practitioner. Directs and provides patient teaching activities. Maintains standards of professional nursing practice. Documentation of records is accurate, complete and complies with the policy and procedures. Participates in efforts to improve patient care through education, Quality and Safety initiatives and support of Shorepoint Health nursing Strategic Plan (Healthy Work Environment, clinical excellence, optimal patient outcomes). Provides leadership, direction and guidance to ancillary staff in the care of patients. Performs other duties as assigned. Shift type: Day/Night shift available
