Reports to: Director of Education Responsibilities of the Position Collaborates with directors and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff. Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies. Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Required Education Associates Degree in Nursing required. Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Licenses/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification North Carolina RN License or Compact State License is required upon hire. Required Skills Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
