The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac stress testing in accordance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission). In collaboration with Management, assists in practice operations. Provides support in the development and implementation of departmental goals. The Supervisor may be assigned to multi-site physician practice as needed to provide operational support to Management. The Staff Registered Professional Nurse is licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia, in good standing and without limitations; has a minimum of two years (2) years full-time experience as a registered professional nurse, and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, an Associate Degree (AD) or a Diploma in Nursing. * Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. * Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). * Minimum of one (1) year experience involving the treatment of cardiac or critical care. * Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation. * Proficient in obtaining IV access.
