Immediately Hiring A Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Description: Our healthcare facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will endorse, interpret and enforce the objectives and procedures of the Nursing Department. You will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the activities of all nursing personnel within your assigned area. Daily tasks include conducting rounds, reviewing care plans, ensuring continuity of care through clear communication, conducting daily conferences with unit staff, and maintaining records, files, and reports. The registered nurse will also provide consultation for unit personnel and resolve immediate problems. Training will be provided in the first two weeks, starting with classroom-based learning of procedures, protocols, and our EMR system, followed by on-the-floor training. Skills & Qualifications: * NYS licensure as an RN * 6+ months experience in long term care * Graduate from an accredited school of nursing * Good oral and written communication skills * Good interpersonal skills Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Washington Heights, New York. Free parking available on site! Work Environment: 705-capacity skilled nursing and rehab facility with a mission to provide quality care through diverse programs and services designed to support health and independence to individuals needing short or long-term care. Schedule: Must commit to a minimum of 3 days per week with an every other weekend schedule. Shifts available are Day (7:30am-3:30pm), Evening (3:30pm-11:30pm), and Overnight (11:30pm-7:30am).
