Overview Registered Nurse (RN), Neurological Procedural Novant Health is hiring for a registered nurse for the X shift at our New Hanover Regional - Pender Medical Center location in Burgaw, NC. We're offering up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation. * Schedule: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours per 2 weeks, Day Shift, 7am - 7pm * Department: Neuro Procedural * Benefits: This position is eligible for benefits. While treating patients in need of thrombectomies, carotid stents, aneurysm coiling's, and more, the nurse's role may require them to treat the patient's sedation level, blood pressure, and oxygenation status. Our nurses are required to have Intensive care experience and familiarity with vasoactive medications. Call shifts for overnight and weekend coverage will be required but will rotate with the staff equally. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing. * Critical Care and Neurological Services Experience Required * Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. * Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. * One-year of acute nursing experience required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
