Mammography Technologist (Port Charlotte)
MAMMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST FULL TIME (MONDAY-FRIDAY) PORT CHARLOTTE, FL Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time / Mammography Technologist to join our Imaging Team. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! Our Mammography Technologists must be able to handle a high volume, fast paced environment while still delivering exceptional patent care and with a pleasant disposition. They are responsible for maintaining all quality control record, ACR accreditation forms and daily logs for modality specific areas. They must be proficient in the use of computer software, i.e.: PACS, eRad, and Athena Clinicals and Communicator. Required Knowledge and Experience Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or accredited Radiologic school; or six month to one year experience and/or training (preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Active State of Florida Radiologic Technology license, BLS, RT(R), RT(M) or passed exam within 1 year of employment Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
