Registered Nurse (RN) Full-time, Part-time, Pool

Our story Originally founded by two emergency room psychiatrists, Dr. Chris Carson and Dr. Robert Williamson, Connections Health Solutions brings 30 years of experience serving individuals in crisis and operates two of the nation's largest and most studied crisis response centers and is currently expanding to more states. Since opening our doors, we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis. Responsibilities What You'll Do: We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) who assesses individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues. Demonstrates knowledge of Crisis Intervention and the ability to de-escalate potentially aggressive situations and will provide education to individuals and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis, medications, and treatments. * Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage, Medical/Behavioral Health assessments and medication administration utilizing appropriate assessment tools. Accurately records all medication brought in by individual on medication reconciliation/storage form. * Plans individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team. * Provides education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families, and all others involved in the individual's care. * Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors. Demonstrates ability to effectively use therapeutic option theory and techniques and can describe and demonstrate their roles and responsibilities. * Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint standards, guidelines, techniques, initiates documentation, and debriefing with individuals for any seclusion/restraint incidents as required. * Accurately transcribes Provider orders and administers medications as prescribed. Attempts to have individual sign medication consent form. Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed. Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required. * Complete nurse to nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility. * Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications What You'll Bring: * Graduated from an accredited Nursing program * Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege * Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques * Working on ASAM 3.7, the RN shall have competencies and experience in conducting an alcohol or other drug focused nursing assessment * The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy.
