Pharmacist - Inpatient Operations

Ensures the safe and effective use of medications by providing optimal drug product selection dosage regimen design effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services in the Medical Center. * Enters physician orders into the appropriate computer system. * Processes physician's orders. * Checks and reviews pharmacy assistant/technician's preparation of orders. * Provides drug information to customers inside and outside of the Medical Center. * Practices pharmacy in accordance with regulations. * In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $52.46 - $83.94 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree required Experience: No experience required Licensure: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods.
