Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Grade: 116 Salary: $17.11 - $28.04 Hourly (Dependent on Qualifications) Department: Utilities - Water Treatment E-mail: [email protected] ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Rotating shift work, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Employees are required to work in order to provide for the safety and well-being of the general public. Must work holidays and weekends. Who May Apply? All persons legally authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities Responsible for the maintenance and operations of the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant, Choke Canyon Reservoir and Wesley Seale Dam. * Identifies and resolves operating issues at the facilities as well as prioritizing and coordinating staffing needs. * Oversee the analysis and monitoring of the potable water production and treatment. * Oversee the collection, preservation, and storage of samples for lab analysis. * Services as shift Operator-in-Charge. * Maintains detailed records and logs. * Participates in and implements various program initiatives. * Performs advanced level process control measurements and testing. * Conducts tours of facility as needed. * May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Requires High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of five (5) years of experience * TCEQ Class C Water License required * TCEQ Class B Surface Water License must be obtained within one (1) year of hire. * A valid driver's license is required.
