Nurse Coordinator, Inpatient Behavioral Health, Part Time, Baptist

Job Posting Summary Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Nursing Coordinator in Inpatient Behavioral Health at Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville. This will be a part-time days position working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 hours each day. As a Nursing Coordinator, you will be responsible for: * Book and schedule ECT treatments * Liaison between psychiatrist, anesthesia, inpatient/outpatient staff and patient. * Contact utilization management and/or referral coordinator to obtain insurance authorizations. * Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and complete concerning all applicable forms and legal documents prior to each ECT treatment. * Facilitate and organize in-service educational programs related to ECT. * Develop, implement and evaluate nursing standards, policy, and procedures for ECT. * Participate in the development of patient education materials. * Coordinate and collaborate on quality improvement activities. * Serves as clinical liaison among patients, families, hospital departments, and interdisciplinary clinical teams. * Oversees the day-to-day clinical and operational functions of assigned clinical programs or areas. * Serves as clinical expert for his/her specialty and provides direct clinical care as appropriate. * Assists BH Leadership and key stakeholders in quality/patient safety initiatives and program/business development by designing and implementing innovative growth strategies for the department.
