Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently filling prescription requests in a high-volume automated refill setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician prepares, packages, and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires maintaining a continuous and consistent workflow to meet daily production goals and the ability to work productively either independently or as part of a team. There is a high level of focus required to avoid cross-contamination and to perform quality assurance checks for expired and/or damaged products. This position is located in a Central Fill pharmacy that supplies patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain, with no patient interaction, answering of phones, or dealing with insurance companies.
