Director of Nursing

Responsibilities For Student Affairs: * Oversee student admission, academic progress, and graduation * Evaluate student progress based on the ADN Nursing Program philosophy and objectives For Faculty: * Interview, select, and onboard qualified nursing faculty * Supervise and assess program faculty, including in-class evaluations For Program Development: * Provide valuable feedback on course materials, practice changes, and student achievement * Lead Program Advisory Board meetings Professional Development: * Stay current through continued education programs and academic courses * Encourage staff and faculty professional growth through the same avenues Qualifications Education and Qualifications: * Master of Science degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc) is required * Current unrestricted registered nurse license in Virginia Experience: * Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience, enabling leadership and role responsibilities * Two years of full-time experience as a faculty member in an approved nursing program * A minimum of two calendar years of prior full-time employment (or equivalent) in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse ECPI University is dedicated to maintaining an inclusive and diverse work environment, proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
