This is a Full-time night shift position in our Labor and Delivery and Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Clay. Baptist Clay is one of the fastest growing Labor and Delivery Hospital in the county. * Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement * Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel * Coordinate care provided by ancillary services * Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing and individualized plan of care * Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet If you are interested in a rewarding career at a Magnet designated facility, apply today or email [email protected] ONLY EXPERIENCE PLEASE APPLY Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Nights Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience * Less than 1 year Newborn Nursery Experience * Less than 1 year Mother/Baby Nursing Experience Licenses and Certifications * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview Baptist Medical Center Clay is a full-service hospital providing residents with easy access to comprehensive, high-tech medical and surgical care close to home.
