Phlebotomist/Ocala FL

Select Laboratories Marion County, Ocala FL is seeking to hire full-time and part-time phlebotomists. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Work schedule is day shift, Monday - Friday. Part-time hours are working no more than 30 hours per week. Applicants must be a graduate of an approved phlebotomy school and at least one year of experience. Medical, dental and vision benefits are options available to full time employee plus a company paid $50K life insurance policy. Salary compares to area hospital systems and reference laboratories. Job duties- * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary technique for all age groups * Process and prepare specimens for testing * Perform patient information data entry into laboratory information system * Collect and process patient insurance billing information * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Administrative and clerical duties as assigned * Provide superior customer service * Maintain HIPPA and OSHA compliance Job requirements- * Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required * One year of experience * Ability to work independently or as a member of a team * Reliable transportation and clean driving record Resume with three references may be submitted to [email protected].
