Job Posting Summary Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurosurgery Pre-OP/PACU Team at our Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville location. Our facility has been recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and has been rewarded the Joint Commision's top certification. The surgical teams perform Neurosurgery cases as well as Neuroendovascular cases. This role is a Full-time Days Pre-OP/PACU position. This position requires call with a 40-minute call response time. As a Registered Nurse in the Neurosurgery Pre-OP/PACU, you will: * Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services * Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care * Educate patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care * Coordinating and preparing assigned room/case * This position requires call.
