Springfield Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of Direct Care Registered Nurse. About the District Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. We are directly to the east of Eugene, where the University of Oregon is located. We currently have over 10,000 students, 1,446 staff members including 645 teachers in our kindergarten through grade 12 school district. Minimum Qualifications Oregon Registered Nurse License; First Aid and CPR certificate; Oregon Driver's License; Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity. Qualifications Desired Bachelor of Science Degree, Preferred; School Nurse or Public Health experience; Knowledgeable about community, social and health service agencies; Knowledgeable with email (MS Outlook), Microsoft Word and online databases; Experience working with children and families; Good written and verbal communication skills; Independent worker, team player, positive, flexible, willing learner; Ability to multi-task; Spanish speaking a plus.
