Registered Nurse - Behavioral Hospital

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is conveniently located in Arlington Texas and is a psychiatric children's hospital providing inpatient programs for children and adolescents. The Registered Nurses' responsibilities include the following: * Providing quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents. * Regularly assess, plan, implement and evaluate each resident's care and produce a comprehensive nursing assessment care and current nursing care plan. * Develops measurable goals on the Multi-disciplinary Treatment Plan that are mutually set with the treatment team, and resident. * Complete daily progress notes for assigned residents. * Provides a safe, therapeutic environment that protects resident's rights. * Maintains professional relationship with patients, family members and the staff of the facility. Qualified candidates for Registered Nurse should have the following: * Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas or eligible compact license. * Behavioral hospital experience strongly preferred. * Must be BLS certified. * Must complete Handle with Care training during hospital orientation. * Must be available to attend a full week of hospital orientation and department training that follows. Shifts available: Full-Time - 7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am * Earn weekday and weekend night shift differential!
