JOB SUMMARY: This position will provide the fullest possible educational opportunity for each student by creating a climate of health and well being in the district schools in the absence of the school nurse. QUALIFICATIONS: * Effective interpersonal skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Write and speak English fluently * High School Diploma/GED * Valid Texas Registered Nurse License * Community health experience preferred but not required SALARY: * $125/day NOTE: As per Senate Bill 9, all substitutes must be fingerprinted before they start working. Fingerprinting is at the substitute's expense and the cost is $47.00 for non-certified substitutes and $49.00 for certified substitutes. You will be provided with information on how and where to be fingerprinted upon hire. * Please see attached job description for further information
