Overview Sign-on bonus available up to $15,000 and Relocation up to $7,500! * Schedule: 7pm-7am, Part Time * Department: Med/Surg * Location: Huntersville Medical Center - Huntersville, NC Come join MSU2 at Huntersville Medical Center! We are proud to be one of the top 10 departments among Novant Health Community Hospitals for Team Member Engagement in 2023. You will get a variety of traditional med/surg patients here. Our patients are recovering from hip and knee TJA, bariatric, colorectal, gyn, and urologic surgeries. They may require IV antibiotics and/ or nutrition, wound care, and mobility assistance. We often see chest tubes, NG tubes, drains, implanted ports, PICC lines, blood transfusions, and wound vacs. It is also our privilege to partner with our Novant Health Hospice team to care for inpatient hospice patient at end of life. Qualifications * Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. * Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. * Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
