Nursing Supervisor RN

POSITION SUMMARY The Nursing Supervisor acts as an administrative liaison and coordinates patient care activities. Requires ability to recognize priority situations, act, and make appropriate decisions. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality and efficient care. Facilitates timely transfer of patients to designated clinical areas. Utilizes escalation process to resolve issues/problems. Utilizes bed prioritization process criteria to ensure patient flow and admission. Excellent communication, leadership ability, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Shifts include: 3p-11p alternating with nights 11p-7am & every other weekend MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Registered Nurse with a current State of New Jersey RN license. BLS & ACLS required BSN required, MSN preferred, 3-5 years prior supervisory/management experience with minimum 3 years clinical/hospital experience required EOE RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer
