One Health OBGYN-RN Clinical Supervisor
One Health Clinical Lead RN- OBGYN Lincolnton/ Denver Job Description Title: Clinical Lead RN Reports To: Clinic Administrator Hours: First Shift, 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the practice. Job Summary Clinical supervisor position is a shared location between One Health OBGYN Lincolnton and Link Landing. OBGYN experience strongly preferred. Provides high quality patient care in performing the assignments and responsibilities delegated by the physician or RN Nurse Manager, or Clinic Administrator. Leads the clinical team following the guidelines, procedures and policies set by leadership and in accordance with governmental and other regulatory standards. Assisting the Clinic Administrator/Manager with responsibilities including but not limited to coordinating schedules and assignments, communications, observations, data collection and other duties as needed. Leads by example in all clinic functions. Essential Functions * Potential to assist multiple family medicine practices. * Leading the team in the provision of appropriate care for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric population of patients in relation to the practice specialty. * Monitors and collects data such as timely response to patient messages, prescriptions and lab results and communicates this information to the Clinic Administrator/Manager * Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work. * Competent in computer skills and ability to create email communications, spreadsheets, and other documents. * Coordinates schedules and assignments of the clinical and non-clinical team members as needed. Covering staffing shortages due to vacations, staff openings, call outs, etc. when other coverage is not available. * Monitors inventory and stock for medications, narcotics, emergency medications/equipment, and routine supplies. Orders supplies as needed. * Assists with the state immunization program including immunization inventory, monitoring storage and handling of vaccines, data reporting and communicating updates to the clinical team. * Exemplifies a caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient and customer experience. * Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients, team members and other customers in a wide variety of sensitive situations. Displays a professional and positive attitude during all encounters. * Performs patient care outlined in the RN Job Description including assisting with performing screening and treatments by gathering information related to health maintenance, accurately checks vital signs, performs medication and immunization administration documenting in the patient record, updates health maintenance, accurately identifies medication changes and updates allergy information during patient encounters. In addition to above examples, need to possess the ability to start IV fluids, triage patients, and practice at the top of RN license. * Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to the physician following procedures, medication administration or treatments. * Assists providers during procedures and examinations and performs instrument and room clean up in accordance with OSHA standards and other regulatory guidelines. * Assisting the Clinic Administrator/Manager with special projects or other clinical and clerical duties as needed. Physical Requirements Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Must speak, read and write basic English fluently. Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell and touch. Manual finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Education, Experience and Certifications 3 years' medical office experience required. BLS certification required. Must maintain current certification. RN, LPN, CMA or RMA meeting the following criteria: If RN: Graduate of an Accredited School of nursing and a Registered Nurse with the current state required license.
