Join us for a Medical Assistant and Clerical Professional (Front Office and Scheduler) hiring event for Northside's Forsyth county area Physician Practices! When: Wednesday, September 18th, 3:00 PM-6:30 PM Where: Forsyth Conference Center Medical Assistants: REQUIRED * Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course. * Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. * Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position if such duties are related to lab duties. PREFERRED * Certified as Medical Assistant. Front Office Assistants: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED * 1 year clerical/secretarial experience preferably in a healthcare environment. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to follow detailed instructions. * Basic computer skills KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED * Successful completion of course in Medical Terminology or commensurate experience * Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
