Registered Nurse Inpatient Acute Care Labor Pool

Full Time Nights Position JOB SUMMARY * Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices. Duties include assessment of patients, developing plan of care, implementing the plan of care and evaluating plan of care. Position requires a high quality of care in order to meet the Hospital's core mission. * The Inpatient Acute Care pool includes the following nursing units: all Acute Care units, IP Surgical Unit, Observation Unit, and Oncology unit. * Day and Night shifts available. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required) * 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in from a state accredited School of Professional Nursing (Preferred) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * 1 - 2 years Nursing Experience (Required) CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES * Required Certifications/Licensures: Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within 2 years of hire, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained prior to completing unit orientation, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained prior to completing unit orientation
