Part Time Certified Sterile Process Technician- Matthews Surgery Center

We are currently searching for a Part Time Certified Sterile Process Technician to join our team at our Matthews Surgery Center location. This position will be scheduled for 3 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). Must Have Sterile Processing Certification. The Certified Sterile Process Technician receives, cleans, distributes and stores medical instruments and equipment. Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment. Other duties include: * Properly disposes of bio hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies * Receives, stocks, packages, and distributes medical instruments. * Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspection on stock. * Properly disposes of bio hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies. PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Certified as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician).
