We are currently searching for a Orthopedic Coordinator/ASC RN to join our team at our Matthews Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ASC Orthopedic Coordinator/ASC RN holds administrative responsibilities in addition to assisting with direct patient care. Administrative responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operational workflows regarding the surgery schedule and physician requests, overseeing accurate charging and reimbursement of implants, overseeing the tissue and implant inventory with proper tracking, and collaborating with the ASC Clinical Manager and Educator to provide support and education for the surgery center team. In conjunction with the ASC Administrator and ASC Clinical Manager, has leadership responsibility for compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations and Accreditation standards. Creates and maintains strong vendor relationships. The ASC Orthopedic Coordinator/ASC RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to all primary areas, assisting as needed in all aspects of day-to-day ASC operations. Works collaboratively with physicians and staff to promote customer service and patient satisfaction. Education/Experience: * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. * Two years prior ASC experience or Operating room experience with emphasis on Orthopedics. * At least one year of previous leadership experience.
