Purpose of Job: Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing support of immunizations programs and patient care as follows: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manages immunizations program for CHAS Health and Vaccines for Children (VFC) vaccines in compliance with state guidelines for Washington and Idaho. Facilitates adult and pediatric immunization tracking in Immunization Information Systems (IIS) or other systems. * Facilitates clinic teams in maintaining program standards in ordering, storage, and rotation of vaccine inventory. * In conjunction with the Quality Improvement department, Operations, and Risk Management, responsible for monitoring immunization rates and errors and participating in clinic initiatives toward increasing rates and eliminating errors. * Ensures timely and proper internal and external immunization reporting. * Collaborates with Operations and Facilities staff in emergency preparations, including proper vaccine transport and safety of vaccine inventory as needed during business hours. * Works in collaboration with Clinical Training department to update and create vaccine trainings as needed. * Assists Employee Health in supporting staff vaccinations when needed. * Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Washington State RN license required; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience working as an RN required. Experience working with underserved populations preferred. Patient care experience in primary care setting preferred. Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills required. Detail-orientation, organization, leadership, and self-motivation required. Computer skills required. Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people at all levels in the organization. Exhibits excellent relationship building skills. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. Valid driver's license and insurance required. BLS (CPR/AED) required. Physical Demands: Must be able to move around the facility between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation or in patient rooms. Using hands occurs over 2/3rds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than 1/3rd of the day. Communicating is also required over 2/3rds of the day, while climbing, stopping or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occurs about half the time, while up to and above 25 lbs. occurs only occasionally.
